Nodularity Control
Complete range of systems, measuring acoustic velocities, for the nodularity control of cast irons. The Autoscan systems can be efficiently implemented in production lines for spot semi automated or fully automated (single or multichannel) inspection, they are easy to set up and keep the widest capability for alternate applications: thickness measurement, flaw detection, etc.
Particularly, the systems operate in pulse-echo technique with dry coupling, using specialty design durable and interchangeable membranes or rubber ball delays. For nodularity control, all systems allow the set up of alarm thresholds in terms of acoustic velocity range.
Autoscan 2500: in the shape of a portable flaw detector, with direct reading of acoustic velocity in pulse-echo technique.
Autoscan 3500: in the shape of a portable flaw detector, with a 350 V pulser and direct reading of acoustic velocity in pulse-echo technique, can perform as well nodularity control tests in transmission mode (immersion).
Autoscan 8000: PC based system, with up to 8 independent channels for simultaneous nodularity control tests (pulse-echo or trough transmission), thickness measurement and flaw detection.
